IT Planning and Organization

Analysed key business functions and the degree to which they are supported by technology. Charted software application usage across functions to discover opportunities to use existing applications in new areas, plan interfaces and avoid duplication. Analysed the technical support required to keep the systems in operation and recommend structures and roles to provide this support.

Implementation Assistance

Provide project management monitoring and support for system implementations. We work with the client's project manager and the implementation firm to provide independent assessment and support (see"Technology Management").

Electronic Document Management Systems

Lead the design, acquisition and implementation of an Electronic Document Management System. Lead the team through user needs analysis, vendor selection, system design and implementation of a system to provide on-line access (with indexing and searching) for electronic documents and scanned images.

Direct System Implementation

We can provide hands on project management support for a your implementation if you need more than the support/mentoring assistance described above. In these engagements we structure the project plan then work with staff and management to tailor it to your precise needs and objectives. We meet periodically with your team and with the vendor to track progress and resolve problems. We also maintain a detailed "issue list" of the various small items that always come up and need to be tracked to completion.

Web site/ Electronic Service Delivery

Develop site needs, priorities and funding models, then develop requirements and RFPs. As this technology area is still evolving quickly, we help select service partners appropriate to your own circumstances and goals.

We can provide service and site quality assurance monitoring to mitigate the impact of problems, and lower your overall cost of operations.

We have designed and managed the implementation of a number of different web sites. These sites facilitate access to a blend of technical and general information for commercial and public sector firms.
